Remote Lands Closes Venture Capital Funding

Luxury Bespoke Travel Firm Raises Capital from Prominent Silicon Valley VC


(NEW YORK, October 2, 2006) Remote Lands, Inc., the preeminent provider of luxury travel and cultural experiences in Asia, has announced the closing of its Series A investment round. The investors are Skymoon Ventures of Santa Clara, California and co-founder Catherine Heald, the Company's Chairman & CEO. The capital will be used for marketing and corporate expansion.
